La Parguera is a coastal area on the South-West coast of Puerto Rico.  The area Mangrove trees growing along the coast, and is very beautiful (I recommend going kayaking between the Mangrove islands).  The area also boasts one of Puerto Rico's bioluminescent bays, a bay with microscopic organisms which emit light when agitated.

But more importantly (for divers at least) the area has a wall some 45 minutes from shore.  The wall starts at 60' water and drops pretty deep (I don't know how deep).  We've visited the area once.

Local dive shop and boat operators seem to be well organized and protect the wall and reefs.  Our guide was Efra of Parguera Divers.
